This area is known for being family-friendly and only accessible to Pedestrians (this means there are no motorized vehicles allowed on the beach at any time). The house is close enough to the water that you are easily within earshot of the kids playing on the beach and went hey re ready to come in; there is an open air shower under the house. This is perfect for hosing off sandy kids, toys, coolers, fishing gear, etc.
We now offer optional linen service to fit your needs and budget:
• Bring Your Own Linens (sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels) to save on costs. If you would like to bring your own linens ask us to remove the cost which is included in the cleaning fee.
Pet-Friendly Vacation Home - Your Furry Friends Are Welcome! We know that pets are part of the family, and we are happy to welcome them at this home! Guests may bring up to two pets per property with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet. If you have more than two pets, please reach out to us - we may be able to make an exception. For small breed pets under 10 pounds, we will do our best to accommodate your request. We ask that all pet owners be mindful of the home and community, clean up after their pets, and follow any local pet guidelines. Inside you will love the new tile floors that look just like wood. The kitchen was updated with new granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Bedrooms have new bedding and new furniture throughout.
From the main living area, you will enjoy gorgeous water views all day long…watch the sunrise over the water and sunset over the bay. Half Moon is also located close to Surf Shops, Convenient Store, Food, Bars and our Office.

Meet the Owners of Beach Resort Services – A Family Tradition Since 1992 At Beach Resort Services, we are more than just a vacation rental company—we are a small, family-owned and operated business with deep roots in Surfside Beach. Our story began in 1957, when our parents stopped in Surfside to fish after their honeymoon in Galveston. What started as a weekend getaway soon became a lifelong tradition, leading to summers spent here as a family before finally making Surfside our home in 1976. In 1992, our mother and founder, Catherine, who had been managing properties with Brannan Realty since 1976, took over as property manager for 13 homeowners in need—and that’s how Beach Resort Services was born. Since then, we have continued to grow, but we have never lost sight of what makes us special—family, tradition, and a passion for helping others create unforgettable beach memories.
