Treasure Island is a wonderful, family-friendly community that is located in Surfside Beach along the San Luis Pass. The area is highly desired for its quiet beaches, family atmosphere and the abundance of Things To Do in the immediate and surrounding area.

If you look at the map below you can see that the ocean wraps around two sides of the community and the bay wraps around the other two sides. This gives you a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by water. The area of the beach that Treasure Island sits on is known for the pristine, clean and quiet beaches that hosts some of the best shelling in the area!

Some of the community amenities include Private Boat Ramp, 2 Private Fishing Piers, Golf Cart Access to the County Beach, Access to the County Parks Play Ground, RV Park, Pavilion, Picnic Area on Bay and 24/7 Patrolled Security.

The San Luis Pass County Park RV Campground is a wonderful little spot for guest who may want to bring their own RV (please remember that the max occupancy set on any house includes daytime visitors. So be sure to include your RV guest as guest of the house to avoid over crowding). The RV spots are totally surrounded with water and have gated access. The San Luis Pass County Park is nestled along side the Treasure Island subdivision and provides great amenities such as a Playground for the kids, restrooms, public boat ramp, fish cleaning stations, picnic areas and more. In the background of the photo you can also see the Pavilion that is open to the public unless it is already rented for a private event. From the Pavilion and park you have wonderful water views. 3. Public Boat Ramp with Trailer Parking / Paddling Trail Launch

The San Luis Pass County Park also Provides a Public Boat Ramp with paved parking, restrooms and fish cleaning station. Within minutes you will be out on the open waters of Christmas Bay. Also pictured is the deck/picnic area that overlooks the channel.

This is also the Put In/Take Out spot for the Paddling Trail that runs 19.1 miles through the pristine Christmas Bay. For more info on the Paddling Trail you can Click Here.
4. Golf Cart Access Ramp to County Beach

Treasure Island has no road that directly access's the beach within the community and this keeps car traffic in the neighborhood to a minimum. There is however a walk-over that was built wide enough to allow golf carts within the community to access the beach safely and quickly without going on any major roads. There is also parking right next to the walk-over which is wonderful if you are needing to haul more stuff than you would like to carry.

The San Luis Pass Toll Bridge is a direct road to Galveston. Just 30 minutes from the bridge and you will have water parks, shopping and tourist attractions galore, this makes for a great day trip. Then when your ready to settle back down and relax, you can just head back down to Treasure Island.
