Directions from Dallas Ft. Worth & North 45 Area
To Beach Resort Service
From the Dallas/Ft. Worth & North 45 area you will take 45 S. towards Houston .
As you come into “The Woodlands, TX” you will pass a sign that says “Rayburn / Sawdust”. After this sign you will get into the far RIGHT lane. You will see a purple sign that says “ Hardy Toll Rd. ”
You will exit “ Hardy Toll Rd. ” to the RIGHT and then it will cross back over 45 S. “ Hardy Toll Rd. ” is approximately 16 miles long and will take you all the way around Houston . You will go through two toll booths and pay $1.25 at each stop.
After the second toll booth you will look for the sign for “59 Downtown”. Exit “59 Downtown” and stay in the middle lane.
On your RIGHT you will pass Minute Maid Baseball Stadium – Home of the Houston Astros and then the George R. Brown Convention Center. After the George R. Brown Convention Center get in the RIGHT lane and look for the exit that says “HWY 288 S. Freeport / Lake Jackson ”.
From Houston - Stay on 288 S. all the way to Lake Jackson . You will see a sign that says 288 Business Angleton-Freeport, but DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT! Stay on 288 S. to Lake Jackson
When you come into Lake Jackson you will cross FM 2004. You will begin to see the Brazos Mall on your RIGHT and then there will be a Lowe’s, Office Max, etc… on your RIGHT at the first intersection.
As you cross the overpass HWY 288 S. will change into HWY 332 E. The road will continue on straight, but the HWY number will change.
You will continue on straight through 10 traffic signals (including the one at the intersection of Lowe’s, Office Max, etc…
Just before the 10
th tran overpass to your RIGHT. Take the overpass up and over (from this point you are 7 miles / 10 minutes from Surfside). DO NOT miss this overpass offic signal you will see a “Holiday Inn Express”. After that make sure you are in the RIGHT lane. Go through the 10th traffic signal and there will be ar you will go into Freeport and you will be several miles out of your way and you will not be able to turn around for quiet a while.You will go through 2 more traffic signals before you cross the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge . From the top of the bridge you can see the Gulf of Mexico . WELCOME TO SURFSIDE BEACH.
Our office is located at the bottom of the Surfside Bridge on the RIGHT next to Breaker Sports Surf Shop.
