Beach Update

Surfside Beach recently received a beach re nourishment project that included 300,000 cubic yards of beach quality sand being dumped on Pedestrian Beach along Beach Drive. The project took many months of hard work but is now complete and the beach is looking fantastic! All area residents and renters were concerned about beach access due to the rock revetment wall that was put in place as it was hard to cross. They have now leveled the rocks out and dumped sand over the wall to make a walk-over for easy access. Walk-overs are located at the end of each street (for example Whelk St, Crab St, Texas St, etc.). You do not need to use the walk-overs to access the beach but it does make it much easy to navigate. Pedestrian Beach is now a must see that already has attracted many families to rent in the area.

If you have any questions on the project feel free to contact our office.
The pictures below show the updates of the completed project.
